Mountain States Reps was founded in 1992 and is a multi-man rep agency with the corporate office in Colorado and sales offices in Minnesota, and Utah.

Our goal is to have Mountain States Reps become known as a manufactures representative leader in the industrial and power transmission industry throughout the country by providing excellent communication between the customer and manufacture with high integrity.

Our mission is:
To create productivity and profitability by satisfying the needs of our customers and exceeding their expectations through creating and maintaining fruitful relationships while providing quality and consistent work and products.

Market Territory:
We market through industrial distributors, OEM and end-users in CO, ID, MN, MT, ND, NM, SD, UT, WY, and El Paso, Texas.

STAFF

Tom Thoen:
40 years working in the power transmission and industrial supply industry. 20 years management experience in wholesale & retail distribution. 14 Years of experience as majority owner in wholesale & retail distribution.

Dave Pigott:
Over 30 years of experience in the power transmission and industrial industry.

Dan Armstrong:
Started in the Process Control Industries wiring control panels, field service and project management before moving into sales. He owned and operated a bicycle shop where he learned the importance of superior customer service. Managed a startup industrial trailer sales company with significant growth. Has experience with independent sales representatives bringing value to both customers and manufactures represented. Dan brings over 30 years’ experience in commercial / industrial sales and customer service to Mountain States Reps.

Dennis Vest:
Started as an outside Sales Rep with Tom Turner & Mike Kannawin and Mountain State Reps & Warehousing on Sept 15th 1999.

Tanner Thoen:
Started working for Mountain States Reps in February 2020. Graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in business. 5 years of experience in customer service.
